After a quiet spell with the bat, Josh Philippe again came good for Sydney Sixers. Josh hit his fourth 50 in BBL 11 to help the Sixers defeat Sydney Thunder by 60 runs.
It took Josh just 35 balls to take 57 (2 sixes, 5 fours) off the Thunder bowlers.
Josh has now scored 384 runs (including four half-centuries) in 11 innings, making him the second highest accumulator of runs in the 2021-2022 competition.
Moises Henriques (47no) gave the Sixers innings impetus, boosting them to a total of 197-5.
Thunder fell well short of their target to give the Sixers victory.
This win moves the Sixers to second in the BBL standings.
