George Says Goodbye

George Hill said his cricketing goodbye to Sedbergh School this week. In the best possible send off, George led Sedbergh’s under-18s to victory at the 10th BOWS Festival.

Matches between Brighton College, Oakham School, Wellington College and Sedbergh were contested during the three days of the festival at Oakham.

George, who will now pursue a professional career with Yorkshire, signed off by scoring 52 runs and taking 4 wickets for 27 vs. Oakham.

Oakham School now connects two of Phoenix Management Group’s family. While George led Sedbergh to victory at Oakham, Stuart Broad honed his cricketing skills as the school.
