Yorkshire have announced that George Hill has signed his first professional contract.
George is the latest member of the Phoenix Management Group family. He made his debut for Yorkshire seconds in 2017, playing in two matches. For the last two years George has been part of the county’s successful academy.
During the winter, George made his international bow with England under 19s in matches vs. Bangladesh. In the second test he scored a first innings 91. While in the white ball series, George claimed his best ODI bowling figures to date (3-37).
Phoenix Management Group congratulate George on achieving this most important step towards fulfilling his cricketing potential.
