Headline Making Return

Ben Stokes made a headline making return to the County Championship when blasting 161 runs off 88 balls for Durham earlier today.

Worcestershire were on the receiving end and had no answer to Ben’s power hitting.

Josh Baker felt the full force of Ben’s bat when conceding five consecutive sixes in an over.

During the same Baker over Ben reached three figures off 64 balls – the fastest County Championship century scored by a Durham player.

During his attention grabbing innings Ben cleared the boundary rope seventeen times to set a new record for sixes hit in a first class county match.
