Joe Clarke’s 4000 Runs

Trent Bridge – Joe Clarke passed 4000 runs in County Championship matches today. Showing late season form, Joe hit his second century for Nottinghamshire in their match against Warwickshire.

 Joe’s innings of 125 (21 fours) came from 186 balls.

It was Joe’s highest county championship innings for Nottinghamshire, bettering the 112 he made earlier this season. It was also his fifteenth first-class century.

Joe passed 4000 County Championship runs when he reached 107. He was eventually out with the Nottinghamshire score on 358-5.

At the close of play Nottinghamshire had made an impressive 425-6.

Update: Joe completed his second century in the match, scoring a second innings 112 (15 fours). He also passed 4500 first-class runs when reaching 26.
