England Captain Joe Root saw first-hand, Joe’s outstanding first innings 100 (165 balls, 16 fours). Joe’s century for his new county, was also registered as the first in the 2019 Specsavers County Championship.
At end of the day’s play, Nottingham were in a strong position at 324-5.
