Southampton – Joe Root passed 3000 runs in County Championship matches when scoring a first innings 94 vs. Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl.
In the first two Specsaver County Championship games of the 2019 season, Joe has scored 297 runs in three innings for Yorkshire. The highlight being a game saving second innings 130no vs Nottinghamshire.
