The ICC have today released a video profiling the career of Phoenix Management Group’s Jos Buttler. Current England players and coaches talk about Jos’ awesome, freakish, ability with the bat.
Jos reflects that travelling the world playing franchise cricket has made him self-sufficient. He also highlights how success with the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL has given him confidence.
Fellow Phoenix Management Group family members Ben Stokes and Joe Root both celebrate Jos’ batting and the contribution he makes to the England side. Joe says, Jos has “the ability to change a game.”
It is this ability that England can call on to maintain their push towards World Cup glory.
For today’s (18 June) group match vs Afghanistan, England have selected all four Phoenix Management Group players in the starting eleven: Jos Buttler, Joe Root, Ben Stokes and James Vince.
