Carrara – Josh Philippe returned to the top of the leading run scorer list in BBL 10 when helping table-toppers Sydney Sixers to another win. Josh heads the Golden Bat with 261 runs. More importantly, his innings of 41 helped the Sixers to a 7 wicket win over Adelaide Strikers.
Chasing the Strikers 150-4, Josh was fluent in an innings of flowing stroke-play. His 41 (1 six, 5 fours) came off 24 balls. After Josh was bowled by Rashid Khan, James Vince kept up the pressure on the Strikers bowlers.
During another classy innings of 45no (1 six, 3 fours), James passed 6000 T20 runs in his career when reaching 31. James and Jordan Silk made sure of the win with 12 balls tom spare.
