Jos Kookaburra Ambassador

Jos Buttler has announced that he will continue to be a Team Kookaburra ambassador for three more years.

Jos said, “I am very excited to continue my relationship with Kookaburra,”

“The team at Kookaburra provide the greatest support and I am delighted to be working with them for a further three years.”

Jos has enjoyed a stellar 18 months. During this time, he has establishing his credentials as one of the brightest stars of world cricket in all three forms of the game.

This culminated in July with his integral role in England’s historic ICC World Cup win  – a crucial 59 with the bat to force a super over, batting in the super over, and then completing the final run out of Martin Guptill to clinch the Cup.

Jos’ mixture of flair and innovation on the field  and respect for the game, opponents and fans off the field make him the perfect ambassador for Kookaburra.

His ability to change the game with his 360 degree batting lives the Kookaburra brand values.

This was highlighted by his stunning performance scoring 150 from just 77 balls against the West Indies at St Georges in February, one of the great ODI innings.

The extension of the partnership means a lot to both Jos and Kookaburra, with the relationship stretching back to his teenage years when he played for England in the 2010 Under 19 World Cup.  It will see him use Kookaburra batting and wicket keeping equipment for the next three years.

Jos is using the Kahuna in 2019, following in the footsteps of greats like Ponting and De Villiers, and taking the mantle of one of today’s most influential players in the world.
