KFC BBL 09
It might be fair to say that Josh’s performances in the BBL outshone those in the Sheffield Shield.
In his second year with the Sixers, Josh’s batting helped the Sydney franchise win their second BBL final.
Josh’s 29 ball 52 (4 fours, 3 sixes) in the final, set-up victory over the Melbourne Stars. It also earned him the player of the match award.
In 16 BBL innings, Josh scored 487 runs (AVG. 37.46) for the Sixers. He contributed 5 half-centuries with a highest score of 83no (5 fours, 4 sixes) vs. the Adelaide Strikers.
As-well-as opening the batting for the Sixers, Josh kept wicket, taking 7 catches and 4 stumpings.
