Kasey’s Two-Year Extension

Somerset have just announced that Kasey Aldridge has signed an extension with the county. Kasey’s two-year extension will see him playing for Somerset until, at least, the end of the 2023.

One to watch, Kasey will be pushing for a place in the first XI over the next two seasons. A fast bowler who generates pace and bounce, Kasey signed his first professional contract with Somerset in 2019 after impressing on their Potential Player Programme.

Speaking to www.somersetcountycc.co.uk, Kasey said,

“It’s an honour to play for the Club that I’ve grown up at. This is where I want to play my cricket and I don’t think there’s anywhere better for me to develop.

It means a huge amount to have been given this opportunity and I can’t wait to go out on the field and impress.

As a bowler, I’m still developing but to know that I’ve got the backing of everyone at the Club is really encouraging.”
