Jaipur – Liam Livingstone’s thrilling 44 helped the Rajasthan Royals to a vital victory over Sunrisers in the IPL.
The Royals must win their three remaining games, to have any chance of making the play-offs. The defeat of Sunrisers keeps the Royals hopes alive, with two games remaining.
Batting first, Sunrisers were contained to 160-8.
In his second game for the Royals, Liam opened the batting with Ajinkya Rahane. Liam’s 26 ball 44 (4 fours, 3 sixes) zinged with powerful shots.
The first 50 came off 33 balls and together the openers put on 78 for the first wicket, before Liam was caught by Saha off the bowling of Rashid Khan.
