Moises Henriques’ long association with Sydney Sixers keeps on rolling after the Sixers announced a new two-year deal for Moises. The Sixers current captain will now wear the magenta shirt until at least BBL 12.
Since BBL 1, Moises has seen the highs and lows of the Sixers journey. Along the way, he has been part of three final winning Sixers teams. He received the Player of the Match award for his crucial 70 runs in the BBL 1 victory and he led the Sixers in their back-to-back BBL 9-10 final wins.
Currently in good batting form, Moises has scored 3 Sheffield Shield centuries this season for NSW.
Prior to a COVID enforced halt, Moises was recalled to Australia’s Test squad for the proposed 2021 tour of South Africa.
