Sydney Sixers recognise Josh Philippe’s key role in taking the BBL 09 title by naming him their Player of the Tournament.
Josh was crucial to the Sixers winning their second BBL title.
In the final vs. Melbourne Stars (8 February), Josh set up the Sixers 19 run (DLM) victory with a 29 ball 52 (4 fours, 3 sixes).
This was just one of five half-centuries for Josh in BBL 09. His highest innings being an unbeaten 83 vs. Adelaide Strikers.
Josh also claimed 11 victims behind the stumps (7 catches, 4 stumpings).
