Brathwaite LBW bowled Broad: that’s 500 Test wickets for Stuart Broad.
On the final day of the third Test, Kraigg Brathwaite became the 500th test batter to loose his wicket to Stuart. Braithwaite (19), failing to put bat onto a ball that kept low and then travelled to hit his back leg, in line.
Stuart joins an exclusive group of seven men to take 500 Test wickets. He is also only the fourth seamer to achieve this milestone. After James Anderson, Stuart is the second England bowler to join the 500 club – both taking the wicket of Brathwaite.
With the third Test still live, Stuart has taken 15 wickets in two Tests – there might be more to come.
