After a meagre haul of 14 runs from four innings, Joe burst into form hitting a total of 189 runs in his next three BBL matches.
On Christmas Eve, the Stars opener hit the Hobart Hurricanes bowlers for 52.
Three days later, he recorded his highest BBL score in Brisbane. Joe battered the Heat’s bowlers for 85 runs as the Stars took a 20 run victory.
Joe’s third consecutive 50 came against Perth when hitting 52 runs off the Scorchers bowlers.
