Two 50s for Zak

Two 50s for Zak Crawley in the LV= Insurance County Championship helped Kent overcome Derbyshire.

Elsewhere, Durham captain Scott Borthwick scored 73 and there was a half century for Hampshire captain James Vince.

Derbyshire vs. Kent

Zak Crawley scored two half centuries in Kent’s 130 run defeat of Derbyshire.

Batting first, Kent posted 285 all out with Zak Crawley making 53 while Matt Critchley took 1-38.

Yet again the Derbyshire batting was fragile as the hosts managed just 156 in reply (Matt Critchley 27).

In Kent’s second innings Zak Crawley (68) reached his second half-century before Kent declared on 211-2.

Dismissed for 210 (Matt Critchley 13), Derbyshire fell to yet another County Championship defeat.

Northamptonshire vs. Durham

After the loss of the third day to rain, Northants secured a draw against Durham.

Northants were dismissed for 183 in their first innings.

Durham took the initiative after registering 400 runs with captain Scott Borthwick scoring 73.

Northants then batted out the final day to finish on 231-9 (Scott Borthwick 1-26-11).

Hampshire vs. Nottinghamshire

Hampshire head Division 1 after their 122 run defeat of Nottinghamshire..

Hampshire made 226 all out in their first innings (James Vince 30).

The Hampshire bowlers then dismissed Nottinghamshire for 155 (Joe Clarke 0).

James Vince scored a second innings 52 as Hampshire took control.

Nottinghamshire fell to defeat within 3 days after toppling to 127 all out (Joe Clarke 9).

Yorkshire vs. Warwickshire

In a low scoring match Warwickshire defeated Yorkshire by 106 runs.

Warwickshire posted 155, before Yorkshire were dismissed for 108 (George Hill 4).

After the visitors scored 176, Yorkshire again produced an under-powered batting performance mustering just 117 (George Hill 1).
