Zak Crawley has been selected for the two-test series vs. New Zealand starting 21 November. The Kent opener joins fellow Phoenix family members Joe Root, Stuart Broad, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes in the squad.
This is the first time Zak has been selected for the full national squad.
After scoring three County Championship centuries this year, Zak’s name has been identified by many for future international honours. Zak averages 31.27 runs in first-class matches and has scored just short of 2000 runs,
The England selectors have also named Phoenix Management Group’s James Vince in the IT20 squad to play New Zealand.
