Chelmsford – While Kent lost their Vitality Blast encounter with Essex last night, Zak Crawley achieved his highest score in a Twenty20 match.
Set 190 to win at The Cloudfm County Ground, Zak bettered his previous highest knock of 59 vs Surrey in Twenty20 games.
The Kent opener scored 89 in 55 balls (9 fours, 4 sixes) in a valiant attempt to chase down the Essex total.
The Kent innings came to an end when they were all out for 179 in the 20th over.
