Josh is an Australian wicket-keeper and batter who is now making his name with the Sydney Sixers. Impressing the Sixers with his batting and wicket-keeping throughout BBL08 Josh signed a three-year contract with the franchise, in April 2019.

Born in Subiaco Western Australia, Josh has played at under 17s, 19s and 23s for Western Australia, as-well-as first grade cricket for Bayswater-Morley, in the Western Australian Cricket Association (2015-16).

In England, Josh has played for Durham’s Second XI (2017) and club cricket for Taunton (2016) and Newcastle (2017).

Josh first appeared on the cricketing radar while playing for a Western Australian XI vs England in November 2017. Opening the batting, Josh scored an eye-catching first innings 88 (92 balls, 16 fours).

He made his debut in the BBL for Perth Scorchers in December 2017. Then in February 2018, he made his debut in the Sheffield Shield for Western Australia vs Tasmania, scoring a second innings 74. His maiden Sheffield Shield century came in October 2018 vs. Victoria

In December 2018, Josh moved from Perth to begin his time with the Sixers. He hit over 300 runs in his first season for the Sydney franchise and helped them to reach the semi-finals of the BBL08.
