Magnificent Double Century

George Hill scored a magnificent double century for Yorkshire’s Second XI at Bristol. George amassed 207 as Yorkshire put the Gloucestershire bowlers to the sword during their first innings.

Yorkshire plundered 602 runs for the loss of 8 wickets before declaring at tea on day two, with George leading the way.

His 207 was crafted over 418 minutes, taking 311 balls and included 24 fours and 1 six.

George and Will Fraine (186) shared a mammoth third wicket partnership of 224 runs. After the departure of Fraine, George then went on to build parentships of 91 with Ben Birkhead and then 85 alongside Harry Duke.
