Scott Borthwick passed 10500 First Class runs during Durham’s final LV= Insurance County Championship match of 2022.
Scott ended the season with 764 runs (AVG. 32.72). Over the course of the season he made seven half-centuries with a highest score of 96.
While Scott passed 10500 runs a 462 run defeat to Division 2 Champions Nottinghamshire will have taken the gloss off Scott’s batting achievement.
