Zak Crawley has now hit 218 runs from 5 Vitality Blast innings in 2021. Against the Eagles, Zak hit 43 as the Spitfires set their opponents 168 for victory.
When rain intervened the Eagles had struggled to 31-4 off 5 overs. With no further play, the Duckworth-Lewis Method gave the Spitfires a 28 win run.
Derbyshire Falcons vs. Nottinghamshire Outlaws
There was a nail-biting finish in this tied match.
After the Outlaws set the Falcons 138 for victory (Joe Clarke 36), the result came down to the last ball with the Falcons needing 5 for victory.

Somerset vs. Hampshire Hawks
Somerset took a 7 run win over the Hawks
Somerset made 172-9 (Tom Lammonby 0) with Mason Crane taking 2-32.
Chasing 173, the Hawks fell short, finishing on 165-8 (James Vince 5).

The Falcons claimed a much needed 5 wicket win under newly appointed captain Matt Critchley.
Ed Pollock (46) led the way for the Bears who set the Falcons 168 for the win. The Falcons, made it home, hitting 170-5 with five balls to spare.
