Joe Root scored his 31st Test century in England’s 5 wicket defeat to India in the fourth of the five match series.
Joe crafted a masterful knock of 122* during England’s first innings in Ranchi.
The visitors were 2-47 when Joe entered the fray. Soon after, they stumbled to 3-57 (Zac Crawley 42) before Joe produced a classic Root innings to help England reach a respectable 353 all out.
During his innings of 122* (10 fours) off 274 balls, Joe passed the 11500 Test runs marker.
