Liam Livingstone passed 4000 T20 runs as England fell to defeat against South Africa.
While England lost their final group game, they advanced to the T20 World Cup semi-finals.
South Africa posted 189-2 in their 20 overs.
During England’s failed run chase, Liam passed 4000 T20 runs. His 17 ball 28, included three successive sixes. One of Liam’s sixes being the longest recorded in the 2021 World Cup.
Earlier in England’s inning Jos Buttler hit 26 of 15 balls.
Thanks to their run-rate, England now move on to the semi-finals.
