Tom Lammonby’s half-century was all in vain as Somerset fell to a 196 run defeat to Essex.
Tom scored a second innings 59 (9 fours) off 99 balls. His innings was one of the few notable Somerset highlights with the bat over the final two days at Chelmsford.
Earlier in the match, Matt Critchley added to his first innings century with another County Championship half-century.
