Personal batting landmarks have been passed by Phoenix family members in Vitality Blast matches.
Over recent days, Matt Critchley, Ed Pollock and Joe Root have all passed 1000 runs in Blast matches. While Jos Clarke and Tom Lammonby took their T20 tallies beyond 3000 and 500 runs respectively.
- Matt Critchley – Matt moved beyond 1000 runs in the Blast (1008) and T20 matches (1041) against Somerset.
- Ed Pollock – the Worcestershire Rapids opener reached 1000 Blast runs in the defeat to Lancashire Lightening.
- Joe Root – it’s now 1000 Blast runs for Joe, who hit four figures when Leicestershire Foxes visited Headingley. Just days before, Joe passed 2000 T20 runs in Yorkshire’s Vitality Blast opener against Worcestershire Rapids.
- Joe Clarke – the Notts Outlaws opener took his T20 batting total to 3000 runs, before rain prevented a result in the Outlaws vs. Steelbacks game.
- Tom Lammonby – Tom eased past 500 T20 runs when scoring 33 in the win over Hampshire Hawks.
