Karachi – Joe Clarke had a PSL debut to remember. On the first day of PSL 6, Joe blasted 46 runs and took 4 catches in Karachi Kings 7 wicket win over Quetta Gladiators.
Asked to bat first, the Gladiators were all out for 121 in the nineteenth over. Returning to wicket-keeping duties, Joe took 4 catches as the visitors crumbled.
Chasing a highly gettable total, the Kings lost opener Sharjeel Khan with just 4 on the scoreboard. Enter Joe. The Kings debutant blasted 46 (3 sixes, 6 fours) off 23 balls and announced his arrival in the PSL.
Within 14 overs the Kings claimed a well-deserved victory, finishing on 126-3.
