First World Cup Century

Ben Stokes hit his first World Cup century in England’s defeat of the Netherlands.

In what has been a disappointing World Cup for England, Ben’s century at last gave their supporters something to smile about.

Ben’s 108 runs (6 sixes, 6 fours) off 84 balls was the higlight of England’s second win of this World Cup.

While Ben has accumulated over 3000 ODI runs and passed three-figures on four occasions, his century against the Netherland was his first in World Cup games.

After England’s 160 run win over the Netherlands, their next opponents will be Pakistan on Saturday.
