It’s 6000 T20 runs for Jos Buttler. Jos passed the 6000 run marker while batting for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL match vs. Mumbai Indians.
After Mumbai set the Royals a target of 194, Jos lead the way in the run chase. His 44 ball 70 (4 fours, 5 sixes) was the highlight of a rather disappointing batting display. In particular, Jos took delight in dispatching Mumbai’s slower bowlers.
On reaching his 50, Jos cruised to 6000 T20 runs in his career. If that was not enough, Jos also passed 1500 runs in the IPL.
After Jos fell to an exceptional catch, the Royals batters crumbled to 136 all out. Mumbai now top the IPL table while Rajasthan languish just one place off the bottom.
