Congratulations to George Hill who scored his maiden County Championship century yesterday.
George scored 151* (3 sixes, 11 fours) during Yorkshire’s second innings against Northants at the County Ground. Last season, he set his previous highest County Championship score (71) on the same ground.
On the third day, George took 248 balls to craft his 151*runs to help Yorkshire take a tight grip on the match.
After George passed the 150 landmark, the visitors declared on 406-3, setting Northants a target of 449 for victory on the final day.
