Maiden ListA Century

George Balderson hit his maiden ListA century in Lancashire’s tense Royal London Cup encounter with Kent.

George’s no risk no gain century came off 87 balls and included 15 fours and 1 six. He walked off the Spitfire Ground undefeated on 106* and his significant contribution helped Lancashire to set Kent a target of 296.

It was only 14 days ago that George set his then highest ListA score of 35 against Worcestershire. His century at Canterbury, took his 2022 Royal London Cup tally to 180 runs from 4 innings.

George’s efforts with the bat were not enough to secure a Lancashire win. Kent completed a somewhat unlikely victory with one ball remaining and now take their place in the quarter-finals.
