Zak Crawley made a memorable BBL debut. Playing in the purple of Hobart Hurricanes for the first time, Zak took 54* runs off the Adelaide Strikers bowlers.
Zak’s composed and well-paced half-century made a favourable impression with the Hurricanes supporters. His 28 ball 54* (3 sixes, 5 fours) helped the Hurricanes reach 229-4.- their highest ever BBL total.
Yet, even Zak’s half-century and a franchise record making total could not prevent the Hurricanes falling to a 7 wicket defeat.
