Josh Philippe’s 61 could not prevent Western Australia falling to a rare Marsh Cup defeat.
After the loss of early wickets, opener Josh helped to steady the ship by scoring 61 (1 six, 10 fours) off 60 balls. Josh helped to take the Western Australia to 127 before becoming the fourth batter to fall.
Western Australia’s winning streak came to an end when New South Wales chased down 217 to take the win by 2 wickets.
