Somerset’s Kasey Aldridge scored 88 runs in a record-breaking County Championship sixth wicket partnership against Hampshire.

James Rew and Kasey added 188 runs to turn Somerset’s innings around in their record making stand.  Coming together with the score on 80-5 the pair advanced Somerset to 268 before Kasey’s dismissal.

Kasey’s 88 runs (13 fours) came off 133 balls. This was his third half-century of the County Championship season. This year, has also seen Kasey record his maiden First-Class and County Championship century.
