Group 1

Warwickshire vs. Nottinghamshire

Warwickshire’s 170 run win put to an end Nottinghamshire’s recent good form.

Batting first Warwickshire scored 341. In reply, Nottinghamshire posted 297 (Joe Clarke 61).

The second time around Warwickshire were all out for 264. Batting last, the visitors were all out for 138.

Worcestershire vs. Derbyshire

It was the turn of Worcestershire to defeat Derbyshire who continue to struggle this season.

After the Pears scored 421 (Matt Critchley 2-97), the Derbyshire batters again could not match their opponents with the bat.

Matt Critchley (81no) topped scored for Derbyshire who were all out for 270. Matt again demonstrating he remains one of Derbyshire’s success stories this season.

Following on, Derbyshire could muster just 128 runs, giving Worcestershire an innings and 23 run victory.

Lancashire vs. Yorkshire

George Hill made his County Championship debut at Emirates Old Trafford in the Roses match.

After Yorkshire were all out for 159, Lancashire amassed an impressive 509-9 declared.

Lancashire recorded a regulation win after Yorkshire were dismissed for 271 (George Hill 18).
