George Balderson scored his second County Championship century to give Lancashire the advantage over Northants.
It was only in July that George recorded his maiden century (116*) against Warwickshire. Just two matches later and he has passed three figures for a second time.
George’s second century came on the third day at the County Ground. His watchful 115 runs (1 six, 14 fours) spanning 234 balls appears to have set-up a likely Lancashire victory on the final day.
