Nat Sciver-Brunt was England’s top scorer in the 38 run IT20 win over India at the Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai).
Nat smashed 77 runs (13 fours) off 53 balls and passed 6500 T20 runs during another impressive white ball innings.
However, the opening IT20 was not all plain sailing for England.
At 2-2 the visitors had Nat and Danni Wyatt (75) to thank for turning the innings around. The pair added 138 runs in England’s challenging total of 197-6.
England took a 1-0 series lead after India fell 38 runs short of their target. While, on her return from injury, Sophie Ecclestone took 3-15 off 4 overs.
