Left-arm medium-fast bowler Mahika made her international debut for the United Arab Emirates when aged twelve. By the age of seventeen, Reading born Mahika was taking her first wicket for England.

Thunder

Mahika made her debut for the Thunder on 29 April 2023 against Western Storm in the Rachael Hayhoe-Flint Trophy. Over the course of six matches, in the competition, she took six wickets and posted her best match figures of 3-37.

In 2023, Mahika made eight T20 appearances for the Thunder taking five wickets.

Manchester Originals

Mahika made her Hundred debut on 7 August 2023 in the Originals’ fixture against Birmingham Phoenix.

In the three wicket win over Northern Superchargers Mahika returned her best bowling figures in The Hundred, to date, when taking 2-21.

United Arab Emirates

Mahika first played for the UAE Women’s team on 12 January 2019 against Thailand A in the Thailand T20 Smash. However, this was not Mahika’s debut for the UAE Women’s team. This came in the same competition on 19 January, when at the age of twelve years, ten months and eleven days, Mahika played in the Third-Place playoff against Indonesia – a match the UAE won by nine wickets.

While still a twelve year old Mahika took her first IT20 wicket (1-14) in the World Cup Asia Regional Qualifier against Kuwait on 19 February 2019.

Mahika returned her best IT20 bowling analysis (3-21) on 2 October 2022 in the eleven-run defeat to Sri Lanka.

Between 2019-22, Mahika played on nineteen occasions for the UAE, taking nine IT20 wickets in total.

England

On August 31, 2023, Mahika made her first IT20 start for England against Sri Lanka at Derby. In the seven wicket defeat she took 1-16.

Mahika made her ODI debut for England in the two-match series against Sri Lanka in September 2023. In the opening game at Chester-le-Street Mahika produced a Player of the Match performance when recording career best ODI figures of 3-26 off 6.2 overs. While in the second match Mahika took 1-29 as England claimed a 2-0 series victory.
