The Hundred Draft

The Hundred draft took place on Sky Sports on Sunday. During the three hour long draft the eight teams had the pick of 570 players.

Earlier this month, the teams had drafted England red ball players and “local icons.” Drafted in this first stage were Phoenix family members Jos Buttler (Manchester Originals), Ben Stokes (Northern Superchargers) Joe Root (Trent Rockets) and James Vince (Southern Brave).

During Sunday’s draft they were joined by five other family members. Liam Livingstone was drafted by Birmingham Phoenix. Mason Crane and Zak Crawley joined London Spirit. While Joe Clarke and Ed Pollock were added to the Manchester Originals squad.
