George Hill passed 1000 first class runs at Headingley.
The Yorkshire batter eased past the 1000 run mark in Yorkshire’s final LV= Insurance County Championship match of the season.
During the 2022 County Championship, George has accumulated 729 runs, including two centuries.
The batting highlight of George’s season was his maiden first class and County Championship century (151*) scored against Northants back in April.
