Nat Sciver-Brunt has now passed 6000 T20 runs. Nat reached the 6000 runs landmark in the vital third T20 match in the Women’s Ashes series.
In an all important 5 wicket defeat of Australia at Lord’s, Nat scored 25 invaluable runs off 25 balls.
While Nat provided the backbone of England’s run chase, it was Alice Capsey who claimed the Player of the Match award with a quick-fire 46 (2 sixes, 4 fours) off 23 balls.
After defeat to the Australians in the sole Test match and the first T20, England have now delivered back-to-back wins to keep their Ashes dreams alive.
England’s 2-1 victory in the T20 component of the Ashes was the first series defeat for Australia since 2017.
