Northants V Hampshire
James Vince passed 1150 runs in First-Class matches while on his way to scoring 186 in Hampshire’s first innings. Hampshire steamrolled their way to victory over Northants by an innings and 270 runs.
Kent v Essex
The weather played its part in this drawn match at Canterbury. Zak Crawley starred for Kent when scoring a first innings 170 runs.
Middlesex v Nottingham
Match figures of 7-146 for Stuart Broad and 52 runs for Joe Clarke could not save Nottinghamshire from defeat against Middlesex.
Somerset v Lancashire
Somerset’s Kasey Aldridge recorded a career best highest score of 52 in First-Class and County Championship matches in the draw against Lancashire.
LV= Insurance County Championship Division 2
Glamorgan v Durham
After scoring a century in Durham’s last match, Scott Borthwick (59) followed up with a first innings half-century against Glamorgan. This match was yet another rain affected draw.
