Scott Borthwick scored his first County Championship century at the Riverside since his return to Durham. Scott’s 108* against Worcestershire helped to set up a 121 run win for Durham.
During the morning session on the final day, the Durham captain set out to score briskly – Scott’s half-century coming off 65 balls.
Together with David Bedingham (86) Scott added 196 for the third wicket. Scott reached his century off 112 balls and was still at the crease when Durham declared on 254-4.
