Dashing 81*

Nat Sciver-Brunt’s dashing 81* against Pakistan hurried England Women into the T20 World Cup record books.

Scoring a consecutive half-century in group games, Nat’s 40 ball 81* (1 six, 12 fours) secured her third World Cup Player of the Match award.

Nat’s rapid scoring and Danni Wyatt (59) laid the foundations for England’s big total. It became a reality when Nat and Amy Jones (47) shared a 48 ball 100 partnership for the fifth wicket.

Such was the batting onslaught, England posted a new highest score of 213-5 in Women’s World Cup history.

A crushed Pakistan team were never in the match and ended their World Cup on the wrong end of a 114 defeat.
