Nat Sciver-Brunt’s five star batting performance proved to be crucial in Mumbai Indians WPL Eliminator defeat of UP Warriorz.
Nat’s 72* (2 sixes, 9 fours) off 38 balls defined the Indians innings. The Warriorz paid the penality after Nat was dropped with only 6 runs against her name. She reached 50 off 26 balls before breezing past her previous WPL best of 55.
Together with Amelia Kerr (29) Nat added 60 runs for the fourth wicket before the Indians innings concluded on 182-4.
The Indians will now face Dehli Capitals in Sunday’s WPL final.
