England captain Joe Root has been named the cinch PCA Men’s Player of the Year.
Joe scored double centuries in Sri Lanka and India in the opening months of 2021.
Back on home soil, he accumulated 564 runs against India – including three consecutive centuries.
Earlier this month, the PCA announced that Joe was LV= Insurance Test Player of the Summer. While at the start of September he topped the ICC Test Batting standings.
