Run-a-Ball Century

A run-a-ball century by Zak Crawley stole the show for Kent in the County Championship match against Nottinghamshire.

On the opening day at Canterbury, Zak recorded his second Championship century of 2023. His run-a-ball 100 included 1 six and 15 fours and gave Kent the early initiative over Notts.

With Kent on 248 Zak’s innings ended abruptly. A sharp caught and bowled completed by Calvin Harrison saw the Kent opener’s downfall. Zak left the field having scored a magnificent 158 runs (3 sixes, 18 fours) off 153 balls.
