NV Young Player of the Year

Zak Crawley has been recognised by the Cricket Writers’ Club who voted Zak their NV Young Cricketer of the Year.

Restricted to players under the age of 23, who are qualified to play for England, the Young Cricketer of the Year was first awarded in 1950.

The highlight of 2020 for Zak was undoubtedly his 267 in this summer’s third Test vs. Pakistan. He also scored centuries in both red and white ball cricket for Kent.

The Cricket Writers’ Club award follows on from Zak being named the PCA Vitality Young Player of the Year earlier this month.
